| How do I set
up my email in Outlook Express version 5, 5.5, or 6? |
If your email address
ends with @wacems.org, while you are in Outlook Express:
1) Click on Tools->Accounts
2) Click on the Mail tab at the top
3) Remove any other accounts that you see here that you don’t use.
Click on Add->Mail.
4) Enter your “display name”—this is that name that appears on all
of your outgoing email, click Next
5) Enter your Frontier email address, click Next
6) At the top, you should see the following:
My incoming mail server is a POP3 server
Incoming mail (POP3): mail.wacems.org
Outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.wacems.org
7) Your account name will be filled in automatically for you, you
should see:
Account Name: your WACEMS username
Password: ********
A checkmark in "remember password" is okay, however, no other box
should be checked; click Next
8) Click Finish->Close

For Macintosh users, the set up of Outlook Express versions 4.5
and higher is the same as indicated above. |
